2020 is nearly here! That means here at Auto Express Mazda, we’re starting to say goodbye to 2019 Mazda vehicles and hello to new 2020 Mazda models. Today we wanted to give local drivers a preview of the latest version of one of our most popular models, the Mazda CX-5. While the 2020 Mazda CX-5 isn’t a complete re-design, that doesn’t mean Mazda automakers didn’t improve it for the new model year. From performance to safety to road noise, drivers will find upgrades on a variety of levels.

One of the most impactful and impressive changes in this 2020 Mazda SUV is in the noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Engineers have worked to reduce road noise to create a more relaxed, enjoyable drive. While improved NVH is a subtle but constant change, there are upgrades to features and performance to look forward to as well. Increased maximum torque and off-road traction assist are key performance improvements in the turbocharged all-wheeldrive version of the 2020 Mazda CX-5, and when combined with manual shift and sport mode options on the six-speed automatic transmission, it makes for a fun and exciting drive experience.

New standard technology also comes with the new 2020 Mazda CX-5 as well. The full suite of i-Activsense® safety features now comes standard, meaning drivers can have more peace of mind at every trim level. These features include Mazda Radar Cruise Control, brake support with day and night pedestrian detection, and lane departure warning. Other new standard features not only increase safety, but make driving easier. For example, you get to enjoy automatic on-off headlights and rain-sensing windshield wipers for enhanced visibility on the road.

We can’t wait to welcome the 2020 Mazda CX-5 to our showroom in Erie, PA. If you have more questions about the 2020 Mazda vehicles coming your way, our expert Mazda dealers are just a phone call away!
